I remember when…

I remember early 2021 I was on the hunt for a house. I took my requests to the Lord in prayer and told him what I needed. I needed a house to be within 10 minutes from my children’s school, within a certain radius to important places like the doctors office and the grocery stores and also within 10 minutes of my job at least, but I really needed to be able to access the surface streets as it is quicker than the interstate. Around February 2021 we stumbled across a beautiful home. I set up an appointment with the owners and they were lovely people. The house was exactly where I needed it to be. The home did have some issues that were minor that could have been fixed but all in all it was pretty much what I wanted. To make a long story short, that fell through, negotiating the price did not work in my favor. I was so hurt and I was so crushed, to say the least. I remember going back into prayer and letting the Lord know how I felt and his response to me was, that house was not for you. Maybe a month later and in conversations telling my coworker what I was looking for, she told me that she knew of someone who was building homes. Brand new homes. She eventually found his card and she took a picture of it and sent it to me. With being hesitant at first, I emailed him, with no response. My spirit told me to call him instead; he’s an older man, he probably does not check his emails as often as I do so the best way to reach him is to call him, which I did. The very first time that we met was a little disappointing because of a price difference. But even in that meeting, my spirit said to work some things out, and I told him just that. Let me work some things out on my end and I will get back to you. I gave it to God again, and he reaffirmed my faith in him and opened the doors that I needed to be opened. The next time we had a conversation, he told me that he did not think that I was coming back. With that comment it gave me the boost that I needed because not only was I able to work out things on my end, I came back to officially start the process. When he told me where the house was being built, the location was where I needed it to be. Not only were my initial prayer requests met, but me and my children stepped into a brand new home❤️.The purpose behind sharing this testimony is to tell someone who may be in need of this message, is to WAIT. Wait on God. There is nothing that you can ask him for that he will not give to you, unless it’s simply not meant for you. But even with that, he will still answer your prayers. It’s easy to become discouraged while you wait, but that time is for you to build your faith. Build it and wait. Happy Sunday beautiful people ❤️
